Our Story

We’re YY and Lin, two educators from sunny Singapore who have spent more than a decade each in education, engaging with children across age groups and settings.

Both of us found ourselves drawn more and more to the way young children learn - through play, curiosity, and time. We love messy, organic, child-initiated play. We love to see children taking the lead and exploring in their own way. We are constantly on the lookout for activities and resources that would truly benefit our students.

Why we started Wonderium Collective

However, time after time, we find ourselves creating resources instead. We kept running into the same problems while searching for resources:

  • Resources that looked beautiful, but were too busy for young children

  • Cute activities that weren’t clearly linked to meaningful learning

  • Lesson ideas that fell apart once you tried them with a room full of lively, often unpredictable children

This is why we started Wonderium Collective!  We wanted something calmer and more honest: play-based, thematic resources that respect how young children actually learn, and that genuinely lighten the load for educators.

Our Design Philosophy

Every Wonderium Collective resource is designed with two questions in mind:

  • Will this feel inviting and manageable for a real child in a real classroom?

  • Will this save the teacher’s time and mental energy, or add to it?

That’s why you’ll see:

  • Clean, neutral layouts and gentle colours so children can focus

  • Simple, friendly fonts and clear instructions

  • Activities that balance literacy, numeracy, motor, and social-emotional skills, with room for child-led exploration

We believe in thoughtful, flexible resources that you can print, bring to class tomorrow, and make your own.

If you use our materials with your children, we’d love to hear what they enjoyed, how you adapted them, and what you’d like us to create next.
